Prevention + Awareness =
The Key to help your child from becoming a Statistic.
MASK was founded in August 2007 by Kimberly Cabral. She was astonished by the facts that her children where sharing with her in regards to things that her 4th and 6th grade children were exposed to in Elementary School. After consulting with experts in the field, counslers and specialist she felt the responsibility to gather all of the information and make it conveniently available for busy parents to attain.

Kimberly then consulted two other dedicated moms Pam Baumann and Michelle Cardini about her concerns and desires for a program to equip parents and children with much needed awareness. Pam and Michelle were on board from that first conversation. Since that conversation back in May 2007 there vision has been not only to bring awareness to the community, but to create opportunities for children to get involved with to help empower them to make healthy choices.

On August 17th 2007 the MASK organization was formed. The first meeting generated 50 concerned parents and the need was shown. Since the organization was just founded by ordinary moms with no fancy letters before or after there names, MASK started to partner with the experts in the field. MASK wants to bring informative awareness conveniently and effectively to the community. Since 2007 MASK has partnered with such organizations as the Attorney Generals Office, The Boys and Girls Clubs, and Remuda Ranch.

MASK starts educating in Elementary School. Kids can be prosecuted as young as 8 years old, they need to understand why, and what they can be held responsible for. MASK educates from Elementary age to College age.
